Over one hundred people photographed at the precise moment when they were thinking about the person they love the most. The subjects are individually invited into a booth, sit comfortably, take a few breaths, then asked to think about the person they love the most. These photos captures that specific moment, thought, and memory.

As the photographer enter the sitter’s zone of intimacy, almost like voyeurs, it occasionally feels uncomfortable, but also privileged. For the sitters, the moment of revealing a part of themselves is emotionally powerful. Hugs and gratitudes we received for enabling this fleeting, but potent experience.

My wife and I, are two artists who are interested in candid photography. We traveled around the world to explore various cultures and express our love of humanity. Through photography we are able to bring something to life that only exists in our mind.

Our approach is to highlight objective reality rather than subjective intent. We bring a fresh perspective to what the conventional traveler might normally see. We just want to explore cultures, humans, loves, histories. Visit je.taime.ca
