Love is the ultimate
common denominator

My wife and I photographed over 100 portraits of people at the sponteanous moment of when they were thinking about the person they love the most. We are evolving this ongoing series in different countries, exploring different culture and faces. (To show how love is the ultimate common denominator (does it make sense?). The strong emotion and bond created by the photographers and the person is undescriptive.

Process
We make the person enter a mysterious black 10×10 booth, have them seated, let them take a few breath to relax, then ask them to think about the person they love the most. We then capture this special moment/portrait/thought.

As the photographers, we enter the intimicy zone of the person, almost like a voyeur. Sometimes we feel uncomfortable, but also very special. The soul and thought that we cannot see but is present.

As the person, being captured in that moment is emotionally strong as well, it becomes a memory of that specific time and other person. One thing for sure it did touch these people in a positive way. We received hugs and compliments about the quick moment they had.

We thank everyone making this projet comes alive and reveal part of their intimacy.

Each of us possesses meaning and inner truth, if we care to look within. Revealing its true essence to enrich your presence in the world.

The most powerful and sustainable way to differentiate is to reveal its true identity and purpose, not to invent it. We are all unique and exceptional. We just have to reveal it.
